The Lincolnville Preservation and Historical Society enriches and preserves the cultural heritage and intangible attributes of Lincolnville, one of the oldest African American towns in the State of South Carolina founded in 1867 and incorporated in 1889.
Pernessa Charlise Seele, a native of Lincolnville, SC, is also the founder and CEO of The Balm In Gilead, Inc., a not-for-profit organization, celebrating three decades of providing technical training and services that strengthen the capacity of faith institutions in the USA and Africa to promote health education, disease management services which contributes to the elimination of human suffering.
